Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Memoro is built on a collect-the-minimum principle: the app works fully offline without an account, and only processes extra data when you actively turn on cloud features.

Data we process

1. Learning data (stored on your device)

Decks, cards, review schedules, streak stats and settings are stored locally on your device. If you don't sign in, this data never leaves your device.

2. Account & sync (only if you sign in)

When you create an account for multi-device sync, we store your email address, your password (hashed — we cannot read it) and your learning data on Supabase infrastructure. This data is used only to sync between your own devices.

3. AI card generation (only if you use it)

When you use "Create cards with AI", the text you type is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) through our own server to generate a list of cards. We do not send your email or identity to the AI provider. Daily usage is counted per account to apply free-tier limits.

4. Error reports

We use Sentry to receive reports when the app hits an error or crash (device type, OS version, stack trace). We have disabled collection of personally identifying information (IP) in our Sentry configuration.

5. Website analytics

The flashmemoro.com website uses Vercel Web Analytics — a cookie-free measurement tool that does not track you across other sites.

6. Advertising (on article pages)

Some article pages on flashmemoro.com may show Google AdSense ads. Google may use cookies to personalise ads per its own policies; you can adjust this at Google Ad Settings. Ads never appear inside the learning app.
